Cycle north along the Bund, passing the iconic Peace Hotel and Customs House. Cross the historic Waibaidu Bridge (Garden Bridge), Shanghai's first steel bridge, built in 1907.
Head south into the charming French Concession. Ride along Wukang Road, Anfu Road, and Fuxing Road, passing historic villas, boutique shops, and plane trees that create a natural canopy. This is the most photogenic part of the ride.
Stop at a charming local café for a refreshing drink. Take photos of the beautiful architecture and tree-lined streets. Your guide shares stories about the area's history.
Cycle through the narrow alleyways of the Old City, passing traditional shikumen (stone-gate) houses and local markets. Then follow the Huangpu River bike path back towards the Bund.
